I’ve always loved to write, but I never thought I’d be a novelist.

I was inspired to write my first novel, Damaged Hearts after I moved to the new master planned community of Anthem, Arizona. Damaged Hearts takes place in Anthem. It’s the story of family starting over, as many of us in Anthem have done. Writing it was a labor of love, a journey aided in large part by the support and encouragement of my dear friends Cindy and Dee who I met after moving to Anthem. (Their last names have been withheld to protect the innocent.)

I’ve completed three books since Damaged Hearts and I’m hard at work on another. I write about families forced to overcome awful situations. I don’t know why…but it’s what I do.
